Step 3, NGFF SSD module into the M.2

B A B A B A B A B A Z170M-PIO2 Step 3 The standoff is placed at the nut location B by default. Skip Step 4 and go straight to Step 5 if your M.2_SSD (NGFF) module is type 2280. If your M.2_SSD (NGFF) module is type 2260, go to Step 4. Step 4 Peel off the yellow protective film on the nut location A. Hand tighten the standoff into the nut location A on the motherboard. Step 5 Align and gently insert the M.2 (NGFF) SSD module into the M.2 slot. Please be aware that the M.2 (NGFF) SSD module only fits in one orientation. Step 6 Tighten the screw with a screwdriver to secure the module into place. Please do not overtighten the screw as this might damage the module. English 23

Peel off the yellow protective film on
the nut location A. Hand tighten the
standoff into the nut location A on
the motherboard.
Step 5
Align and gently insert the M.2
(NGFF) SSD module into the M.2
slot. Please be aware that the M.2
(NGFF) SSD module only fits in one
orientation.
Step 6
Tighten the screw with a screwdriver
to secure the module into place.
Please do not overtighten the screw
as this might damage the module.
