2.7 M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Installation Guide (M2_1) The M.2, also known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a small size and versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe and mSATA. The Ultra M.2 Sockets (M2_1) support M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s modules and M.2 PCI Express modules up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s). * Please be noted that if M2_1 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_1 will be disabled. Installing the M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Step 1 This motherboard supports M.2_ SSD (NGFF) module type 2280 only. Prepare a proper PCB lenth of module, the screw and the standoff. Step 2 Gently insert the M.2 (NGFF) SSD module into the M.2 slot. Please be aware that the M.2 (NGFF) SSD module only fits in one orientation. English 20o 26 NUT2 NUT1 Step 3 Tighten the screw with a screwdriver to secure the module into place. Please do not overtighten the screw as this might damage the module.

M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Installation Guide (M2_1)
Te M.2, also known as the Next Generation ²orm ²actor (NG²²), is a small size and
versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe and mSA³A. Te Ultra M.2
Sockets (M2_1) support M.2 SA³A3 6.0 Gb/s modules and M.2 PCI Express modules up to
Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s).
* Please be noted that if M2_1 is occupied by a SA³A-type M.2 device, SA³A3_1 will be
disabled.
Installing the M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module
Step 1
Tis motherboard supports M.2_
SSD (NG²²) module type 2280
only. Prepare a proper PCB lenth of

module into the M.2 slot. Please
