Adaptec AVC-1200 User's Guide Editing Your Video Now that you've captured some video footage, you can give your video more impact by trimming it and adding transitions, effects, and titles. See Editing Your Video with Windows XP or Windows 2000 on page 28 for instructions. If you are using the Windows Me or 98SE operating systems, after you've captured some video footage, you can trim it. For example, you can change your Start and End points. You can also choose the specific video frame that you want to use as the thumbnail picture that is displayed in your Main project window. See Trimming Your Video with Windows Me or Windows 98SE on page 31 for instructions. Editing Your Video with Windows XP or Windows 2000 To begin editing your video: 1 From the Main project window, double-click the thumbnail for the video clip you want to edit. 2 If you want MyDVD to help you break your video into scenes for easy editing, click Yes when prompted.
