Plugging in Your Devices Follow this picture to connect your USB 1.1 and 2.0 devices to your XHub2. You can use either USB port on your hub. Note: USB 1.1 devices won't operate at USB 2.0 speeds, even if they're connected to a USB 2.0 hub or adapter. See About USB 2.0 Performance on page 1 for more information. Unplugging Your Devices Device manufacturers support hot-plugging in different ways. Some devices (like CD-ROM drives) must be stopped before they are unplugged. Refer to your devices' documentation for disconnection recommendations. 3
