Troubleshooting Symptom/Cure Tables: System Problems After Startup - 52 Networked Printer Problems This troubleshooting table deals with an iMac that cannot print to an attached, knowngood networked printer. Possible Cause Possible Fix Bad network connections. Check the network connections. Wrong version of system software is installed. Verify that you have the correct version of Mac OS. If you are unsure, reinstall the system software using the original CD that shipped with the iMac unit. Chooser is set incorrectly. Open the Chooser and verify that you have the correct printer and printer driver selected. System, network, or printer software is corrupted. Perform a clean install of the system software (you must use the system software CD that came with the iMac in order to get the correct version of Mac OS with the appropriate iMac enablers) and/or the network and printer software. General network problems. Refer to the "Network Problems" troubleshooting table earlier in this chapter. Bad logic board. Replace the logic board.
