2.6.6 Platform Misc Configuration The items in this menu allow you to configure the Platform Misc. PCI Express Native Power Management [Disabled] Allows you to enable or disable PCIE express native power management. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] Native ASPM [Disabled] The item appears only when you set the previous item to [Enabled] and allows you to enable or disable ASPM. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] 2.6.7 Onboard Devices Configuration HD Audio Controller [Enabled] [Enabled] Enables the HD Audio Device. [Disabled] Disables the HD Audio Device. The following item appears only when you set the HD Audio Controller item to [Enabled]. Front Panel Type [HD] Allows you to set the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC'97 or highdefinition audio depending on the audio standard that the front panel audio module supports. [HD] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to high definition audio. [AC97] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC'97 SPDIF Out Type [SPDIF] [SPDIF] Sets to an SPDIF audio output. [HDMI] Sets to an HDMI audio output. Auto Shielding LED [Auto] [Auto] The LED control depends on the configuration of the ErP Ready item. Set this item to [Auto] and the ErP Ready item to [Disabled] to keep the LED on. [Disabled] Turn off the LED. Type-C Power [Auto] Choosing [Force On] enhances the compatibility of the connected USB devices. Configuration options: [Auto] [Force On] Asmedia USB 3.1 Controller [Enabled] Enables or disables the Asmedia USB 3.1 controller. Platform Misc Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to configure the Platform Misc.
PCI Express Native Power Management [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable PCIE express native power management. Configuration
options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Native ASPM [Disabled]
The item appears only when you set the previous item to [Enabled] and allows you to enable
or disable ASPM. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]

HD Audio Controller [Enabled]
[Enabled]
Enables the HD Audio Device.
[Disabled]
Disables the HD Audio Device.
The following item appears only when you set the
HD Audio Controller
item to [Enabled].
Front Panel Type [HD]
Allows you to set the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC’97 or high‑
definition audio depending on the audio standard that the front panel audio module supports.
[HD]
Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to high definition audio.
[AC97]
Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC’97
SPDIF Out Type [SPDIF]
[SPDIF]
Sets to an SPDIF audio output.
[HDMI]
Sets to an HDMI audio output.
Auto Shielding LED [Auto]
[Auto]
The LED control depends on the configuration of the ErP Ready item. Set
this item to [Auto] and the ErP Ready item to [Disabled] to keep the LED
on.
[Disabled]
Turn off the LED.
Type-C Power [Auto]
Choosing [Force On] enhances the compatibility of the connected USB devices.
Configuration options: [Auto] [Force On]
Asmedia USB 3.1 Controller [Enabled]
Enables or disables the Asmedia USB 3.1 controller. Configuration options: [Enabled]
[Disabled]
