GND CPU FAN PWR CPU FAN IN CPU FAN PWM 4. CPU Fan connector (4-pin CPU_FAN) The fan connector supports cooling fans of 350mA~740mA (8.88W max.) or a total of 1A~2.22A (26.64W max.) at +12V. Connect the fan cable to the fan connector on the motherboard, ensuring that the black wire of the cable matches the ground pin of the connector. Do not forget to connect the fan cable to the fan connector. Insufficient air flow inside the system may damage the motherboard components. This is not a jumper! DO NOT place jumper cap on the fan connector. CPU Fan supports Q-Fan. CPU_FAN M2N68-AM M2N68-AM CPU fan connector 5. Digital audio connector (4-1 pin SPDIF_OUT) This connector is for an additional Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF) port(s). Connect the S/PDIF module cable to this connector, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis. +5V SPDIFOUT GND M2N68-AM SPDIF_OUT M2N68-AM Digital audio connector The S/PDIF module is purchased separately. 1-28 Chapter 1: Product introduction
