BIOS SETUP Security Option (System) When you specify a Supervisor Password and/or User Password (explained later in this section), the Security Option field determines when the system prompts for the password. The default setting is System, where the system prompts for the User Password every time you start your system. The other option is Setup, where the system goes through its startup routine unless the Setup utility is called, when the system prompts for the Supervisor Password. PS/2 Mouse Function Control (Auto) The default of Auto allows the system to detect a PS/2 mouse on bootup. If detected, IRQ12 will be used for the PS/2 mouse. IRQ12 will be reserved for expansion cards if a PS/2 mouse is not detected. Enabled will always reserve IRQ12, whether on bootup a PS/2 mouse is detected or not. 4.
