4.4.2 CPU Configuration The items in this menu show the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically detects. Configure Advanced CPU settings Manufacturer: Intel Brand String: Genuine Intel(R) CPU 3.20GHz Frequency : 2800 MHz FSB Speed : 800 MHz Cache L1 Cache L2 Cache L3 : 16 KB : 1024 KB : 0 KB Ratio Status: Unlocked Ratio Actual Value : 14 CPU Ratio VID CMOS Setting: Microcode Updation Max CPUID Value Limit: Enhanced C1 Control CPU Internal Thermal Control [ 14] [ 45] [Enabled] [Disabled] [Auto] [Auto] Hyper Threading Technology [Enabled] Sets the ratio between CPU Core Clock and the FSB Frequency. NOTE: If an invalid ratio is set in CMOS then actual and setpoint values may differ. Select Screen Select Item +- Change Option F1 General Help F10 Save and Exit ESC Exit F10 Save and Exit ESC Exit CPU Ratio [ 14] Sets the ratio between the CPU Core Clock and the Front Side Bus frequency. The default value of this item is auto-detected by the BIOS. Use the or keys to adjust the values. VID CMOS Setting [ 45] Allows you to set the VID CMOS setting at which the processor is to run. The default value of this item is auto-detected by the BIOS. Use the or keys to adjust the values. Microcode Updation [Enabled] Disables or enables the microcode updation. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Max CPUID Value Limit [Disabled] Enable this item to boot legacy operating systems that cannot support CPUs with extended CPUID functions. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Enhanced C1 Control [Auto] When set to [Auto], the BIOS will automatically check the CPU's capability to enable the C1E support.
