Chapter 1 24. Thermal Sensor header The Thermal Sensor header allows you to connect a sensor to monitor the temperature of the devices and the critical components inside the motherboard. Connect the thermal sensor and place it on the device or the motherboard's component to detect its temperature. T_SENSOR 25. TPM header The TPM header allows you to connect a TPM module, which securely stores keys, digital certificates, passwords, and data. A TPM system also helps enhance network security, protect digital identities, and ensures platform integrity. TPM 26. VGA switch The VGA switch allows you to enable or disable the onboard VGA controller. VGA_SW Ensure the ATX power supply is switched off or the power cord is detached from the power supply when enabling or disabling the VGA controller settings using this switch. • If a VGA Card is installed into a PCI Express x16 Slot, the onboard VGA function will still be enabled. • BMC Remote Management Function will still be available when VGA controller settings is set to disabled, but the display will be disabled on the client device.
