2.4 EZ Mode PBO To use the EZ Mode PBO function, the ROG STRIX HIVE needs to be connected to the motherboard. The EZ Mode PBO can improve and maximize performance of your PC by raising clockspeeds. To use EZ Mode PBO: 1. Connect the ROG STRIX HIVE to your motherboard. For more information on connecting your ROG STRIX HIVE to your motherboard, please refer to the Connecting the ROG STRIX HIVE to the motherboard section. 2. Press down on the EZ PB Mode button. Chapter 2 EZ Mode PBO button • PBO Runtime function can be used whilst logged into the operating system by pressing down on the EZ Mode PBO button and enabling PBO. Pressing the button again will revert back to the default values of the CPU. • If Ryzen Master is already installed, the PBO values of the Ryzen Master PBO settings will be automatically applied, and no changes will be made when the EZ Mode PBO button is pressed down. • If PBO is set to [Auto] in the BIOS, the PBO Runtime functions can be used whilst logged into the operating system, and PBO will remain enabled even when the PC is powered off, reset, or waking up from the S3 state if the EZ Mode PBO button is pressed down. • If the PBO is set to another option other than the [Auto] option, PBO will apply the settings made in BIOS and will not have any effect or changes when the EZ Mode PBO button is pressed down. 2-24 Chapter 2: Basic Installation

EZ Mode PBO
To use the EZ Mode PBO function, the ROG STRIX HIVE needs to be connected to the

The EZ Mode PBO can improve and maximize performance of your PC by raising

To use EZ Mode PBO:

Press down on the EZ PB Mode button.

pressing down on the EZ Mode PBO button and enabling PBO. Pressing the button
again will revert back to the default values of the CPU.

If Ryzen Master is already installed, the PBO values of the Ryzen Master PBO
