2.4 EZ Mode AI OC To use the EZ Mode AI OC function, the ROG STRIX HIVE needs to be connected to the motherboard. The EZ Mode AI OC can improve and maximize performance of your PC by raising clockspeeds. To use EZ Mode AI OC: 1. Connect the ROG STRIX HIVE to your motherboard. For more information on connecting your ROG STRIX HIVE to your motherboard, please refer to the Connecting the ROG STRIX HIVE to the motherboard section. 2. Press down on the EZ Mode AI OC button. The EZ Mode AI OC button will remain pressed down until it is pressed again. Chapter 2 EZ Mode AI OC button 3. Restart your PC to apply and enable EZ Mode AI OC. • If EZ Mode AI OC is enabled, the BIOS setting will be set to [AI Optimized] after the first reset, and you will not be able to manually adjust this setting. EZ Mode AI OC will remain enabled even when the PC is powered off, reset, or waking up from the S3 state if the EZ Mode AI OC button is still pressed down. • If EZ Mode AI OC is disabled, the BIOS setting will be set to [Auto] after the first reset, and you will not be able to manually adjust this setting. EZ Mode AI OC will remain disabled even when the PC is powered off, reset, or waking up from the S3 state if the EZ Mode AI OC button not pressed down. • If the ROG STRIX HIVE is disconnected from the motherboard, the BIOS setting will be set to the last setting before being disconnected. EZ Mode AI OC
To use the EZ Mode AI OC function, the ROG STRIX HIVE needs to be connected to the
motherboard.
The EZ Mode AI OC can improve and maximize performance of your PC by raising
clockspeeds.
To use EZ Mode AI OC:
1.
Connect the ROG STRIX HIVE to your motherboard.

refer to the
Connecting the ROG STRIX HIVE to the motherboard
section.
2.
Press down on the EZ Mode AI OC button.
The EZ Mode AI OC button will remain pressed down until it is pressed again.

Restart your PC to apply and enable EZ Mode AI OC.

If EZ Mode AI OC is enabled, the BIOS setting will be set to
[AI Optimized]
after the
first reset, and you will not be able to manually adjust this setting. EZ Mode AI OC will

state if the EZ Mode AI OC button is still pressed down.

reset, and you will not be able to manually adjust this setting. EZ Mode AI OC will
remain disabled even when the PC is powered off, reset, or waking up from the S3
state if the EZ Mode AI OC button not pressed down.

If the ROG STRIX HIVE is disconnected from the motherboard, the BIOS setting
will be set to the last setting before being disconnected. The BIOS setting can be
configured manually.
