The CPU fits in only one correct orientation. DO NOT force the CPU into the socket to prevent bending the connectors on the socket and damaging the CPU! A 6. Carefully place the heatsink on top of the installed CPU. 2. Twist each of the four screws with a Philips (cross) screwdriver just enough to attach the heatsink to the motherboard.
