Product Introduction 1 1.1 Before you proceed Take note of the following precautions before you install motherboard components or change any motherboard settings. • Unplug the power cord from the wall socket before touching any component. • Before handling components, use a grounded wrist strap or touch a safely grounded object or a metal object, such as the power supply case, to avoid damaging them due to static electricity. • Before you install or remove any component, ensure that the ATX power supply is switched off or the power cord is detached from the power supply. Failure to do so may cause severe damage to the motherboard, peripherals, or components. 1.2 Motherboard layout Place this side towards the rear of the chassis HDMI_DP U2_11 U32G1_10 5 ATX_12V_2 ATX_12V_1 41 4 24.4cm(9.6in) CPU_FAN CPU_OPT DIGI+ VRM U32G2X2_C1 LAN_U32G2_3 U32G1_E34 M.2(WIFI) AUDIO Intel Ethernet M.2_1(SOCKET3) PCIE 4.0 X4 SATA X LGA1700 DDR4 DIMM_A1 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_A2 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_B1 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_B2 (64bit, 288-pin module) 2 ADD_GEN 2_2 ADD_GEN 2_3 11 CPU DRAM VGA BOOT 18 5 ATX_PWR 8 9 U32G1_E12 U32G2_4 30.5cm(12in) M.2_1(SOCKET3) CHA_FAN1 AIO_PUMP SATA6G_4 SATA6G_3 2242 2260 2280 22110 6 PCIEX16(G5) 7 BATTERY Intel® B660 3 PCIEX1(G3)_1 Super I/O 128Mb BIOS M.2_3(SOCKET3) M.2_2(SOCKET3) PCIEX1(G3)_2 PCIE SATA Optane Memory PCIE SATA 4.0 X4 X V COM_DEBUG 4.0 X2 X 6 M.2_3(SOCKET3) M.2_2(SOCKET3) Audio Codec 22110 AAFP 15 2280 2260 2242 2242 2260 2280 COM 14 PCIEX16(G3) TB_HEADER USB_56 RGB_HEADER ADD_GEN 2_1 USB_78 SATA6G_1 CLRTC SATA6G_2 PANEL CHA_FAN2 CHA_FAN3 17 11 12 10 4 7 13 16 • Unplug the power cord before installing or removing the motherboard.
