2.7.3 Installing a hard disk drive 1. Remove the 3.5-inch hard drive holder out of the chassis. The 3.5-inch hard drive holder is optional. 2. Insert the hard disk drive to the 3.5- inch hard drive holder, then carefully push the drive until its screw holes 3 align with the holes on the holder. 3. Secure the hard disk drive with two screws on both sides of the bay. 4. Replace the hard drive holder to the chassis and secure the screws. For SATA HDD: Connect the SATA SATA signal and power plugs to the connectors at the back of the drive.
