Using Headphones Using Wired Headphone Connect headphones into the headphone Jack on the left or right side of the unit. Quick Tips: Excessively loud volume could damage your hearing. Turn down the volume before you connect the headphones, and then raise the volume to a comfortable level. Sound from the DVD Player's external speaker will stop when headphones are connected. Using Wireless Headphone (Optional) 1. For best results when using wireless headphones sit facing the screen within the range of 8 feet and not more than 30 degrees left and right of center. There should be no obstacles between the wireless headphones and the infrared audio signal emitter. 2. Press the PIC button on the front panel until "Infrared Headphone Emitter" power ON/OFF is displayed. 3. In the Infrared Headphone Emitter power ON/OFF select mode, press the +/button on the front panel to select ON. 4. If there is no sound, make sure that the headphones are on and that the volume is turned up and that the batteries in the headphones are not discharged. - 21 -

Using Wireless Headphone (Optional)

Press the PIC button on the front panel until “Infrared Headphone Emitter” power
ON/OFF is displayed.

button on the front panel to select ON.

If there is no sound, make sure that the headphones are on and that the volume is
turned up and that the batteries in the headphones are not discharged.
