SN2408 Energy-Efficient 80-Watt Mixer Amplifier with Dual 70/100 V and 4 ohms Outputs for Distributed Music, Paging and AV Applications Architect's and Engineer's Specifications Summary description: The mixer-amplifier shall be of compact, shelf-mountable multi-input design with built-in paging functions and two mono transformerless Class D power amplifiers with switch-mode power supplies, one low-Z and one high-Z (70/100 V) for distributed speaker systems. Controls and indicators shall include the following: • Master Volume knob for setting overall volume • Indicator ring for power (yellow) and clipping (flashing red) • HI EQ/LO EQ knobs to adjust the overall treble and bass • Input level knobs (1-5) to set the relative level of each input • Phantom/Mic/Line switches (3) to select input channel mode • Tel/Page input screw pot to adjust telephone paging input • Zone 2 output screw pot to adjust the level of the Zone 2 feed • Mains voltage switch to select 115 or 240 VAC • High-Z output switch to select 70 or 100 V operation • Balance screw pot to adjust the relative output of the two amps • Output Assign DIP switches to assign inputs to the Zone 2 out and to enable/disable external processing inserts for each amp • Mute Assign DIP switches to enable/disable muting • Mute depth screw pot to set ducking of aux inputs during pages • Power switch to turn the unit on and off Connections to the mixer-amplifier shall include: • Mic/Line inputs on three XLR/TRS (1/4-inch) combination jacks and three 4-pin Euroblock connectors • Aux inputs (2 pair), unbalanced line-level RCA, summed to mono • Output for both high- and low-Z on a 4-pin Euroblock connector • Tel/Page input on a 3-pin Euroblock connector • Zone 2 line-level output a on 3-pin Euroblock connector • Effects inserts on RCA jacks (send and receive for each amp) • AC power on IEC jack Protections incorporated into the amplifier shall include automatic limiting and independent DC and thermal overload protection. 4
