This is not necessary if you run all your programs in Windows®. The actual switching program is ASDOS.exe located in a:\DOS\. To use this program, copy it to your hard drive using the following command: copy a:\DOS\ASDOS.exe c:\ It is a TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) program, thus it remains in memory after you have executed it, but will not be removed unless you tell it to do so, or reboot your PC. The default setting assumes that the F1U109 is connected to LPT1. To make it work with LPT2, simply add /2 after the word ASDOS. For LPT3, use /3. It will work in any non-protected mode DOS environment. To remove it from memory, type the following prompt: ASDOS/u To use ASDOS.exe, simply press the "CTRL", "ALT" and "X" keys simultaneously. A window will appear at the top of your computer screen. Press the port number you wish to switch to, then press Enter. Your AutoSwitch will switch to the corresponding port as shown by the LED indicator. 16
