BOBBIN THREAD TENSION Measure the bobbin threod tension by suspending the wound bobbinin as case by the end of the thread.If the bobbin does not move when it is gently swung, the tension is tooTight, if it lolls to the ground or moves down too freely. It is too loose. Correct tension is obtained when it slips down a few Inches looprox. 10 cm). 15) Note:Itisnotnormally necessary toadjust bobbin thread tension. IIis usually only necessary to adjust the top thread tension when some altetation is desired. See pages 9/10.
