ENGLISH 2. Using a screwdriver, turn the screw on the back of the parent unit 90 degrees in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the battery cover. NOTE Do not try to rotate the screw further than the position OPEN. 3. Install the enclosed 2 AAA rechargeable batteries following the polarity as shown. WARNING Do not use non-rechargeable batteries for the Parent Unit. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions. 4. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw in a clockwise direction. 5. Press P. The LCD display will illuminate. 6. Press and hold P to switch off the parent unit. NOTE When the battery level is low, the icon will appear on the LCD display and the parent unit emits a short warning tone once every minute. 2.4 Parent unit power supply 1. Connect the power adapter cable of the charger pod to the mains socket (230V/50Hz). NOTE Only use the enclosed adapter (6V DC / 300mA). Getting started 9

NOTE
