Detergent residue on the laundry. Gray residue on the laundry. System shakes or shudders when passing from lower to higher speed spinning. Water faucet not turned on. Supply hose kinked or pinched. Strainers in supply hose clogged. Aquastop Hose safety feature activated. Aquastop is triggered Water pressure too low. This is not a fault. The water level is below the visible part of the drum. Suds Pump is blocked The thread of the supply hose is not tight. Leak in the drain hose. Too much soap or non-HE soap used, pump could not remove suds. This is not a fault. The unbalanced load detection system is attempting to balance the load through repeated spins. Load size too small. Large items of clothing have become entangled and could not be distributed evenly in the drum. For reasons of safety the highćspeed spin cycle was automatically prevented. Excessive suds due to too much detergent, non-HE detergent used The degree of soiling was higher than estimated. Not enough detergent. Some phosphateĆfree detergents contain waterĆinsoluble residues that may appear as light spots on the laundry. Dirt accumulation from ointments, fats or oils. Drum system suspension can shift during speed up, this is not a failure. Turn on water faucet. Cycle continues. Eliminate the cause. Clean the water inlet strainers (see Page 27). Add the maximum amount of detergent and select the highest permissible temperature. Mix small and large laundry pieces in load to minimize this effect. Make sure the unit is level, see page 15. If the fault cannot be eliminated with the aid of the above table, switch the appliance off, wait 5 seconds, switch the appliance on again, select and start the cycle.
