Chin Arabic SETTING UP Figure 5 Connection to power Connecting the speakers to a power outlet Use the supplied power pack, which has a cable that connects to the RIGHT speaker. 1. Insert the cable plug into the connector labeled 12V on the back of the speaker (Figure 5). 2. Plug the power pack into an AC (mains) outlet. • If your system includes a power pack adapter, attach the adapter as shown (below left) before plugging in the power pack. Connecting an optional second source The Companion® 2 speakers provide a second set of input connectors for use with a second sound source. To make this connection, use the audio output cable provided with your MP3 player, CD player, or other source. 9
