English TAB 2 TAB 3 TAB 4 Playing your iPod or iPhone 1. Line up the connector on the iPod or iPhone with the connector on the dock. Firmly insert the iPod or iPhone into the dock. The iPod or iPhone will charge while docked. Note: If your iPod or iPhone has a case, you may need to remove the case in order to properly dock the iPod or iPhone. 2. Press the Play/Pause button on the SoundDock III system remote. The remote controls system functions and basic iPod or iPhone functions. Note: Be sure the music application on your iPod or iPhone is open and ready to play. 3. Adjust the volume using the SoundDock III remote or the volume controls on the iPod or iPhone. Off • Turns off both your iPod or iPhone and the system. Volume • Press and hold to change the volume quickly. Play/Pause • Halts and resumes play. • Press and hold play another connected device while your iPod or iPhone charges. Playlist select • Moves to the next or previous playlist. Skip/scan back • Press once to skip to the beginning of the current track. • Press twice to skip to the beginning of the previous track. • Press and hold to scan backward quickly. Skip/scan forward • Press once toskip to the next track. • Press and hold to scan forward quickly. 3
