First strip about 1/2 inch (12 mm) of insulation from each wire and twist the separate wire ends. Then, to connect a wire, push the terminal tab dawn. Insert the end of the wire into the exposed hole. Release the tab to secure the wire (Figure 3). To connect a center channel speaker Attach both wires at one end of the cord to the terminals on the back of the speaker. Make sure the connections are made positive to positive and negative to negative. Now connect the free end of the cord to the CENTER (C) SPEAKER terminals on your receiver. If there is more than one center channel set of terminals(+and-),use either set. Ceder Channel Speaker To connect a rear channel speaker Attach both wires at one end of a cord to the terminals on the back of one speaker. Make sure the connections are made positive to positive and negative to negative. Now connect the free end of that cord to the REAR SPEAKERS(L)or (R) terminals on your receiver. Tip: II does not matter which of these speakers is connected to the L and which to theR terminals. Therefore you don't need to cross the wires leading from your speakers to your receiver.
