Printing on thick paper, labels and card stock ■ Do not use damaged, curled, wrinkled, or irregularly shaped paper. ■ Do not use labels without a mount. ■ We recommend that you use paper that is made for laser printers. ■ Use paper that can withstand intense heat; the interior of the printer reaches very high temperatures while printing. Figure 1-18 ■ Before you print paper with holes, such as organizer sheets, you must fan the stack to avoid paper jams and misfeeds. Figure 1-19 ■ Do not place the punched holes of organizer sheets near the actuator (paper sensor). ■ Do not use organizer sheets that are stuck together. The glue on them might cause damage to the printer. ■ Do not put different types of paper in the paper tray at the same time because it may cause paper jams or misfeeds. ■ Do not print thick paper, labels or card stock using duplex printing. ■ For proper printing, you must choose the same paper size from your software application as the paper in the tray. ■ See What kind of paper can I use? on page 1-5. Printing on thick paper, labels and card stock
Do not use damaged, curled, wrinkled, or irregularly shaped paper.
Do not use labels without a mount.
