USER'S GUIDE MEMORY BOARD Additional memory is useful and maybe necessary if you are downloading many different fonts or are printing a very complex document. The printer has either 0.5, 1 or 2 MB of memory as standard. The memory capacity can be expanded up to 2 MB with an optional memory board. Two types of memory boards are optionally available: one for 1 MB memory expansion and another for 1.5 MB memory expansion.  Note The printer can recognize a maximum of only 2 MB of memory.
