If oil is not added and the oil drops below this level, there is the danger that the machine may seize during operation. Be sure to let the machine operate for a while after adding the oil. If there is no more oil on the felt of the shuttle race base, problems with sewing may result, so add oil to the felt until it is slightly soaked. Use only specified Brother oil (Nisseki Sewing Libe 10) for the machine oil. 1.
