Connect the black plug of the knee switch cord w to the black plug of the knee switch q. 2. Connect the white plug of the knee switch cord w to either the white or red plug of the knee switch q, depending on the function you would like to select. ¡ Plug connections Contact A: white-white When the treadle is in the neutral position, the presser foot is in the down position; pressing the knee switch will cause the presser foot to rise. Contact B: white-red When the treadle is set to neutral, the presser foot is in the up position; pressing the knee switch will cause the presser foot to drop. * When the power switch is turned on, the presser foot e can be raised or lowered by releasing the treadle. Moreover, if the knee switch q is pressed once, the presser foot e will not move even if the treadle is released. Use the knee switch q to control the presser foot e in this way. 1. Schließen Sie den weißen Knieschalterkabelstecker w je nach der einzustellenden Funktion entweder an der weißen oder an der roten Klemme des Knieheberschalters q an. ¡ Steckerverbindungen Kontakt A: weiß-weiß In der Neutralstellung des Pedals ist der Stoffdrückerfuß abgesenkt; durch Drücken des Knieschalters wird der Stoffdrückerfuß angehoben. Kontakt B: weiß-rot In der Neutralstellung des Pedals ist der Stoffdrückerfuß angehoben; durch Drücken des Knieschalters wird der Stoffdrückerfuß abgesenkt. * Bei eingeschaltetem Netzschalter läßt sich der Stoffdrückerfuß e durch Loslassen des Pedals anheben oder absenken. Falls der Knieschalter q einmal gedrückt wird, bewegt sich der Stoffdrückerfuß e auch beim Loslassen des Pedals nicht. Auf diese Weise läßt sich der Stoffdrückerfuß e mit dem Knieschalter q steuern. - 29 - TN-840B, 870B TL-840B
