Troubleshooting If you could not complete the installation correctly, or Digital Photo Professional does not work, or images are not displayed, consult the items described below. O For instructions on installing and system requirements, refer to the "Software Guide". Could not complete installation correctly. O Are you using Windows XP under a setting other than [Computer adiministrator] or using Windows 2000 under a setting other than [Administrator]? J You cannot install software if a user setting other than [Computer administrator] or [Administrator] is selected. Select the [Computer administrator] user setting in Windows XP or the [Administrator] user setting in Windows 2000. For detailed information on selecting the user setting, refer to the manuals supplied with your computer. O Is there sufficient hard disk space? J 256 MB or more of hard disk space is required. O Are you using any operation system other than Windows XP and Windows 2000? J Digital Photo Professional does not operate in Windows except for Windows XP and Windows 2000. Digital Photo Professional does not work. O Does your computer meet the system requirements for Digital Photo Professional? J Check the system requirements. O Is there enough memory (RAM)? J Check the system requirements. O Is the screen resolution less than [1024 by 768 pixels]? J Specify [1024 by 768 pixels] or more for the screen resolution. O Is the color quality less than [Medium (16 bit)]? J Specify [Medium (16 bit)] or more for the color quality. O Are multiple applications running? J Exit any application other than Digital Photo Professional. Even though the memory (RAM) that is recommended in the system requirements is installed in the computer, if other applications are running with Digital Photo Professional, the memory (RAM) may not be sufficient. Could not display images with Digital Photo Professional. O Did you try to display images other than the image types that are supported by Digital Photo Professional? If you could not complete the installation correctly, or Digital Photo Professional does not work,
or images are not displayed, consult the items described below.
For instructions on installing and system requirements, refer to the “Software Guide”.
Are you using Windows XP under a setting other than [Computer
adiministrator] or using Windows 2000 under a setting other than
[Administrator]?
You cannot install software if a user setting other than [Computer administrator] or
[Administrator] is selected. Select the [Computer administrator] user setting in Windows
XP or the [Administrator] user setting in Windows 2000. For detailed information on
selecting the user setting, refer to the manuals supplied with your computer.
Is there sufficient hard disk space?
256 MB or more of hard disk space is required.
Are you using any operation system other than Windows XP and Windows
2000?
Digital Photo Professional does not operate in Windows except for Windows XP and
Windows 2000.
Does your computer meet the system requirements for Digital Photo
Professional?
Check the system requirements.
Is there enough memory (RAM)?
Check the system requirements.
Is the screen resolution less than [1024 by 768 pixels]?
Specify [1024 by 768 pixels] or more for the screen resolution.
Is the color quality less than [Medium (16 bit)]?
Specify [Medium (16 bit)] or more for the color quality.
Are multiple applications running?
Exit any application other than Digital Photo Professional. Even though the memory
(RAM) that is recommended in the system requirements is installed in the computer, if
other applications are running with Digital Photo Professional, the memory (RAM) may
not be sufficient.
Did you try to display images other than the image types that are supported
by Digital Photo Professional?
Check the supported images (10).
