Using the Purple Button You use the purple button on top of the printer to perform these functions: r To resume printing after correcting a printer problem, press the purple button once. r To print the Nozzle Check Pattern, press the purple button twice. r To reset the printer (print data will be erased), hold down the purple button for at least two seconds and then release it. The printer is restarted and the print head is cleaned. N The purple button is not a power button. The printer does not have a power button.
