Setting the Bulb Timer 5DS/5DS R 7D Mk II You can preset the bulb exposure's exposure time. With the bulb timer, you do not need to hold down the shutter button during the bulb exposure. This reduces camera shake. The bulb timer can be set only in the (Bulb) shooting mode. It cannot be set in any other shooting mode. 1 Prepare for Live View shooting. Follow the procedure of step 1 and step 2 for "Remote Live View Shooting" (p.29). 2 Select [Bulb timer settings] in the [Shooting menu]. The [Bulb timer settings] window appears. 3 Specify settings. Select [Enable]. Set the exposure time. Time can be set in a range from 00:00:00 to 99:59:59. Introduction Contents 1 Downloading Images 2Camera Settings If you select [Disable], the bulb timer will be OFF for the next bulb shooting. If 00:00:00 is set for the exposure time, the bulb timer is set to [Disable]. 4 Click the [OK] button. 3Remote Shooting 4 Preferences Reference Index The bulb timer is set on the camera, and the [Bulb timer settings] window closes. 62
