5 Playback Playback This section explains how to play back clips recorded on a CF card. For details on playing back clips using an external monitor, refer to Connecting to an External Monitor (A 140). For details on viewing photos on the SD card, refer to Viewing Photos (A 149). Operating modes: 125 Clip Index Screen Playback functions are accessed from the clip index screen. To open the clip index screen, set the camcorder to mode. If the CF card contains a type of recordings (NTSC/PAL/24.00P) different from the camcorder's current settings, you will not be able to play back the clips. In such case, change the [w Other Functions] > [24.00P] or [NTSC/PAL] settings as necessary (A 59).
