Shooting with the Focus Lock 1 Aim the camera so that an object at the same focal distance as the main subject is centered in the viewfinder or in the AF frame displayed on the LCD monitor. 2 Press the shutter button halfway to lock the focus. 3 Keep the shutter button pressed while you recompose the image and press the shutter button all the way to shoot the image. Shooting with the AF Lock 1 Turn on the LCD monitor. 2 Aim the camera so that an object at the same focal distance as the main subject is centered in the AF frame. 3 Press and hold the shutter button halfway and press the button. z The icon and the MF indicator will appear on the LCD monitor. 4 Re-aim the camera to compose the shot as desired and shoot. Shooting with the AF Lock
To Release the AF Lock:
Press the
button.

Aim the camera so that an object at the
same focal distance as the main subject is
centered in the viewfinder or in the AF frame
displayed on the LCD monitor.

Press the shutter button halfway to lock the
focus.

Keep the shutter button pressed while you
recompose the image and press the shutter
button all the way to shoot the image.
