Menu Description Power management duration Specify how much time must pass before the light source goes off or the projector enters standby mode, depending on the [Power management mode] setting. Option Function 5 min. - 60 min. After 30 seconds without an input signal when the projector is idle, the projector starts displaying a countdown of the selected time. • If conditions that would start countdown are met while you are blanking projection, blanking is canceled. • Once countdown begins, audio output stops. Direct power on You can turn on the projector by connecting the power cable without pressing the POWER button. Option Function Off The POWER button must be pressed to turn the projector on. On You can turn on the projector by connecting the power cable only. • Before enabling direct power on, be sure to set [Power management mode] to an option other than [Disabled]. When [Disabled] is selected, [Direct power on] is not available. • After turning off the projector, wait at least 5 minutes before turning it on again. It may shorten the lamp life if you turn on the projector immediately after turning it off. • The projector is also equipped with a Direct Power Off feature. No damage is caused to the projector even if it is unplugged during projection to turn it off without pressing the POWER button. However, setting adjustments made immediately before unplugging the projector may not be stored. Motion blur reduction > [System settings] > [Motion blur reduction] Motion blur is blurring that occurs during video playback. Motion blur reduction can make this blurring less noticeable. Option Off Weak Strong Function Motion blur reduction is not performed. Reduce motion blur for fast-moving images. Note that images may be slightly darker, and flickering may occur. Reduce motion blur for images moving faster than with [Weak]. Note that images may be darker, and flickering may occur. • If setting the projector to [Strong] or [Weak] produces distracting flickering, set it to [Off]. • [Motion blur reduction] is not available in [DICOM SIM] image mode. The menu is grayed out. • Motion blur reduction is not available when [Lamp mode] is set to [Power saver 2]. Menu Guide Menu Description 163
