Downloading Images to a Computer 117 • Some problems may occur when downloading images to a computer in the PTP mode with certain file types. Please refer to the supplied Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) Mode leaflet. • Ensure that you push the [Push] button on the connector to remove the USB cable from the camera's DIGITAL•A/ V OUT terminal. • It is recommended to power the camera from a household power outlet with the optional AC Adapter Kit ACK500 when connected to a computer (p. 130). • If the USB cable is detached while the camera power is on, the camera will power down. • When the camera is connected to a computer, a warning displays on the computer display after 5 minutes if the camera is not used. The camera shuts down if a further minute passes without a button being pressed. (Except when the camera's power-saving function is set to off) To restore power, press the main switch again. However, the power-saving function will not activate if the Communication mode is set to [PTP]. • All procedures performed with a connection to a USB 2.0 compliant board are not guaranteed. Please refer to the Software Starter Guide for the subsequent procedures.

Some problems may occur when downloading images to a
computer in the PTP mode with certain file types. Please refer
to the supplied
Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) Mode
leaflet.
Ensure that you push the
[Push] button on the
connector to remove the
USB cable from the
camera’s DIGITAL•A/V OUT
terminal.
It is recommended to power the camera from a household
power outlet with the optional AC Adapter Kit ACK500
when connected to a computer (p. 130).
If the USB cable is detached while the camera power is on,
the camera will power down.
When the camera is connected to a computer, a warning
