Viewing Images on a TV set Viewing Images on a TV set Viewing Images on a TV set You can use a video-compatible television as a monitor to shoot or play back images when it is connected to the camera with the supplied AV Cable AVC-DC300. Power Lamp 1 Turn off the Camera and the TV. (p. 34) 2 Connect the AV cable to the camera's A/V OUT terminal. • Use the toggle on the wrist strap to open the terminal cover (p. 13) and insert the AV cable all the way. • Treat the connector area with great care while you attach and remove the AV cable. 3 Yellow IVNIDEOAUDIO Plug the other ends of the AV cable to the VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN jacks on the TV. Black Power Lamp 4 Turn on the TV and switch it to Video mode. 5 Press the power button until the power lamp lights green. • The image will appear on the TV. Shoot or play back images as usual. • Press the DISP. button when images are not being displayed on the TV when shooting. 155

You can use a video-compatible television as a monitor to shoot or play
back images when it is connected to the camera with the supplied AV Cable
AVC-DC300.

Turn off the Camera and the TV. (p.

Connect the AV cable to the
camera’s A/V OUT terminal.
Use the toggle on the wrist strap to open
the terminal cover (p. 13) and insert the
AV cable all the way.
Treat the connector area with great care
while you attach and remove the AV cable.

Plug the other ends of the AV cable
to the VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN jacks
on the TV.

Turn on the TV and switch it to
Video mode.

Press the power button until the
power lamp lights green.
The image will appear on the TV. Shoot or
play back images as usual.
Press the
DISP.
button when images are
not being displayed on the TV when
shooting.
