Selecting Menus and Settings Menus are used to adjust shooting and playback settings, as well as other camera settings like the Date/Time and sounds. Menus are displayed by pressing the FUNC./SET or MENU button according to the circumstances. Use the following procedures to select settings. Some menu options may not be selectable in certain shooting modes (p. 192). Selecting Menu Settings with the FUNC./SET Button (Shooting Mode only) 1 Slide the mode switch to (Shooting) or (Movie). 2 Press the FUNC./SET button. 3 Use the or button to select an item. Please see the FUNC. Menu topic on the next page for the selectable menu items. 4 Use the or button to select an option. • Some menu items allow you to make further settings by pressing the MENU button. • You can shoot right after performing these steps. The menu displays again after the shot, allowing you to change the settings easily. 5 Press the FUNC./SET button. 48
