Charging and Inserting the Battery Pack 3 Close the battery compartment cover. • Push the cover until you hear a click. Do not force the cover closed if the battery pack is not correctly inserted. To remove the battery pack Open the battery compartment cover and slide the battery release latch in the direction of the arrow so the battery pack springs out. Remove the battery pack and close the cover. 3 2 1 2 1, 4 3 4 • Turn off the camcorder before removing the battery pack. After turning off the camcorder, important data is updated on the memory card. Be sure to wait until the green power indicator goes out. 31
