OTHER RECORDING FUNCTIONS NOTE • Whenever you perform an optical zoom operation (page 55) while recording with manual focus, a value will appear on the monitor screen as shown below to tell you the focusing range. Example: MF 10cm - ∞ Using Focus Lock Focus lock is a technique you can use to focus on a subject that is not located within the focus frame when you record an image. You can use focus lock in the Auto Focus mode and the Macro mode ( ). 1.
