Changing the Control Panel Date/Time Style 1. In the REC mode, press [SET]. 2. Use [8] and [2] to select the bottom Control Panel option (Date/Time). Use [4] and [6] to select the date or time. NOTE • You can select either of two display style (page 144) for the date: Month/Day or Day/Month. • The time is displayed using 24-hour format. Shooting with Zoom Your camera provides you with 3X optical zoom (that changes the lens focal distance), which can be used in combination with digital zoom (that digitally processes the center portion of the image to enlarge it) for total zoom capabilities of 3X to 47.8X. The image deterioration point depends on the image size (page 47). 1. Snapshot Tutorial

In the REC mode, press [SET].
