Configuring Service Placement Service Resolution Configuration Examples Command or Action Purpose • port-Port within the web server address that the external world uses to reach the API. This address is used as an end-point in the various types of rankings (performance, proximity, etc.). Step 4 service-resolution exclude dc id Adds data centers to a global exclusion list, in other words a list of data centers to be excluded from the service placement Example: recommendation operation. A common use for exclusion is when data centers are down for maintenance. switch(config)# service-resolution exclude dc att_west • id-Identifier of the data center to be excluded. Step 5 service-resolution service-request timeout timeout-interval Specifies the service request timeout interval in seconds. Values can range from 1 to 3600. The default is 30 seconds.
