Preface This preface describes the audience, organization, and conventions of the Cisco MDS 9000 Family Fabric Manager User's Guide. It also provides information on how to obtain related documentation. Audience This guide is for system administrators who intend to use the Cisco Fabric Manager to configure and monitor the switches that build the network fabric. You should be familiar with the basic concepts and terminology used in internetworking, and understand your network topology and the protocols that the devices in your network can use. You should also have a working knowledge of the operating system on which you are running Fabric Manager, such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Solaris.
