Chapter 9 Configuring Spanning Tree PortFast, UplinkFast, BackboneFast, and Loop Guard Configuring BackboneFast To disable UplinkFast on the switch, perform this task in privileged mode: Step 1 Step 2 Task Disable UplinkFast on the switch. Verify that UplinkFast is disabled. Command set spantree uplinkfast disable show spantree uplinkfast With PVST+ mode enabled, this example shows how to disable UplinkFast on the switch and verify the configuration: Console> (enable) set spantree uplinkfast disable Uplinkfast disabled for switch.
