CLIFFORD World-Class Auto Securitic DigitalDual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV Owner's Manual The Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV defines the new state of the art in radar sensing technology. It is the only radar sensor that can clearly determine the difference between a lurking thief and other conditions that cause other manufacturer's radar sensors to false alarm. And the Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV uses only half the power of other radar sensors, so it won't be a drain on your car battery like other radar sensors. What's more, an innovative and attractive sensor control panel makes tuning of each of the two sensor zones a breeze. You can do it any place or time without tools and without any technical aptitude or skills. What is Dual-Zone Sensing? Your Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV is like having two radar sensors: The outer zone detects anyone lurking near your vehicle and warns him away before he even touches your vehicle (depending on your installation, the warning can be either a one-second honk of your car horn, a one-second blast from your alarm siren, a flash of the headlights and/or parking lights, or a verbal warning from a voice module like Clifford Electronics' Sense & Tell). The inner zone detects an intruder's presence inside the car, such as someone reaching or leaning into your vehicle's passenger compartment. Once the inner zone is activated, it will trigger your vehicle security system's full alarm response. The DigitalDual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV ControlPanel If you feel that your system is either too sensitive (issuing "warnings" or full alarm activation too easily) or not sensitivity enough (doesn't warn or alarm when it should), you can independently change the sensitivity setting of each or both of the zones. While other manufacturer's sensors require repeated trips back to your alarm installer, the Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV permits you to make the changes yourself, easily and accurately.
