• What the Bell-Like Chime Means WHEN YOU DISARM Your Alani, If the bell-like chime sounds after you disarm your Clifford alarm with its remote control, Sense & Tell is alerting you to the fact that there was an intrusion attempt made on your vehicle while you were away. • How to Get a Voice Diagnostic If your Clifford vehicle security system has the Smart AutoDiagnostics or Smart AutoTesting feature, and you add the optional interior speaker to your Sense & Tell, it will verbally tell you whether a trigger or sensor malfunctioned. If a malfunction exists, you will hear the door-bell-like chime after remote arming. To identify the source of the malfunction: 1. Disarm the security system with your remote control and enter the vehicle. 2. Sense & Tell will make one of the following announcements: "TRUNK TRIGGER WAS ACTIVE" "HOOD TRIGGER WAS ACTIVE" "SENSOR ONE WAS ACTIVE" "SENSOR TWO WAS ACTIVE" 3. If the hood or trunk is open, close it and re-arm. If a sensor is active, take your vehicle to the nearest Authorized Clifford Dealer for a sensor adjustment. • Smart Prior Intrusion Attempt Alert If your Clifford vehicle security system has the Smart Prior Intrusion Attempt Alert feature and your installation included the optional interior speaker, Sense & Tell will also verbally tell you which trigger or sensor was tripped while you were away. If an intrusion had been attempted while you were away from your vehicle, when you disarm the alarm with its remote control, Sense & Tell will announce "DISARMED" and then sound the chime to warn you, from a distance, of the prior intrusion attempt. When you enter the vehicle and insert your ignition key, Sense & Tell will advise you via the optional internal speaker that one of the following occurred: "TRUNK TRIGGER WAS TRIPPED" "HOOD TRIGGER WAS TRIPPED" "DOOR TRIGGER WAS TRIPPED" "SENSOR ONE. WAS TRIPPED" "SENSOR TWO WAS TRIPPED" "SYSTEM WAS SCANNED" 31-270A/992/S&TOM - Made in USA @ Copyright CliffordElectronics, Inc., 1992
