1. Prepare the
computer for disassembly

palmrest cover with touch pad
.
3. Remove the
keyboard
.
4. Remove the

.
5. Remove the
processor
.
6. Remove the
modem
.
7. Remove the
hard drive
.
8. Remove the
display panel assembly
.
9. Remove the
Upper CPU Cover
.
10. Remove the
battery charger board
.
11. Remove the
diskette drive
.
12. Remove the
CD or DVD drive
.
13. Remove the
fan assembly
.
IMPORTANT:
When replacing the system board remove the memory module
on the system board.
14. Disconnect the
speaker assembly
cables.
