Troubleshooting Problem Monitor is overheating. Possible Cause Mute button may be activated. Volume may be too low. There is not enough air space to allow proper ventilation. Solution Select the Speaker icon on your computer screen and deselect Mute. Increase volume by using keyboard volume control or clicking on the Speaker icon on your computer screen and increasing the volume level. Volume may also be adjusted on the speaker. Leave at least 3 inches (76 mm) of ventilation space around the monitor, and do not place objects on top of the monitor.
