Installing an Expansion Board Your computer contains expansion slots, as follows: Expansion Slots in Pentium-Based Expansion Board Cage Expansion Slots in Pentium IIBased Expansion Board Cage 1 PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) expansion slots 2 PCI/ISA shared expansion slot 3 ISA (Industry Standard Architecture) expansion slots The graphics controller resides in either a PCI slot in the expansion board cage, or in the AGP slot on the system board. Removing an Expansion Slot Cover To remove an expansion slot cover, follow these steps: 1. Remove the expansion board cage from the computer chassis. 2.
