Method 1 SmartStart for Servers 5.0 will be used to install a supported operating system. A non-supported operating system is installed on the existing server. Method 1 SmartStart for Servers 5.0 will be used to reinstall a supported operating system. New expansion boards will be added to the new I/O module. Method 1 Reinstalling the operating system with SmartStart for Servers 5.0 ensures that the correct drivers are loaded. The 5V expansion boards on the existing secondary bus must be moved to the primary bus due to the new slot keying on the 3.3V secondary bus.
