B. Air Compressor Operation 1. Unwrap the Air Hose from the body of the compressor. 2. Push Down and "Lock" the universal tire valve onto the valve stem or use the appropriate adapter if inflating balls, air mattresses, etc. 3. Put the switch in the "Compressor On" Position (Position 3) and the unit wil l inflate what ever item you are inflating. 4. Check the pressure gauge to make sure the necessary and correct amount of air pressure (P.S.I.) is being used. 5. When the desired amount of pressure is reached, switch back to the OFF position (Position 1) and rewrap the air hose around compressor. NOTE: The working times for fully charged Compressor are as fol lows: Inflation Times Car Tires 8 Tires to 32 PSI Bike Tires 35 Tires to 45 PSI Sport Balls 190 Sport Balls to 11 PSI Pool Toys 30 Assorted Tubes/Pools to 1 PSI CAUTION: Allow Compressor to Cool 10 minutes after 15 minutes of continuous operation or overheating may occur. CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS The battery can be recharged over and again (typically 8001000 times) provided the operating procedures are followed correctly. It is recommended that the engine be running when the unit is recharging if you are charging off of DC 12V power. Page 5
